The Plaza Theatre is thrilled to present Can You Handle This Heat? The Kathy Griffin Palm Springs Residency — coming to the heart of downtown Palm Springs in 2027. Fresh off two sold-out shows from Palm Springs’ most iconic stage, these performances mark Griffin’s first-ever residency anywhere in the world.

Her Grammy-winning comedy album Kathy Griffin: Calm Down Gurrl placed her alongside Whoopi Goldberg and Lily Tomlin as one of the only female comedians to win the Grammy for Best Comedy Album. The Plaza Theatre, which reopened in December 2025 after a decade-long closure, has quickly established itself as one of the premiere entertainment destinations in Southern California.
