Sam Morrison: Sugar Daddy

Sam Morrison: Sugar Daddy
Part stand-up, part storytelling, and part emotional excavation, join comedian Sam Morrison for the remarkable true story he never wanted to happen.
One summer, Sam met the sexy silver zaddy of his dreams. But in the midst of the pandemic, the love of his life tragically passed away. Searching for a way to survive his grief, Sam did the only thing he knew: he turned the unbearable into comedy. Done live on stage. In front of thousands of strangers. Some of them straight. All around the globe.
Produced by Alan Cumming, Billy Porter, Sally TM and Edgewood Entertainment and hot off acclaimed runs in Edinburgh, London and New York – ★★★★★ SUGAR DADDY embraces love and loss and everything in between (cue seagull attacks, New York muggers, unexpected encounters with Jehovah’s Witnesses, and a surprise diagnosis of Type 1 diabetes…).
You’ll laugh. You might cry. You’ll definitely text your friends about it afterwards.
Hailing from Florida, Sam found his home performing his bizarre premises and tightly honed joke writing at NYC’s premier comedy clubs. He broke out with his smash-hit solo show Sugar Daddy before making the move to Los Angeles last year. He made his television debut on Late Night With Seth Meyers and since has been named a Just For Laughs New Face, performed on Comedy Central Featuring, and appeared on Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen, The Drew Barrymore Show, Howard Stern, Tamron Hall and more.
His first two solo shows were critically acclaimed at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and his third, Sugar Daddy, extended Off Broadway 4x and was called “The best new show in New York” by The Daily Beast. He recently completed a run of Sugar Daddy at Underbelly Boulevard in London, produced by Alan Cumming and Billy Porter, where it was hailed as “Superb” by The Guardian.
