2028 Summer Olympics / Los Angeles

Dates: July 14-30, 2028, for the Olympics, followed by the Paralympics.

With over 55 Olympic and Paralympic sports, 800+ events and more than 3,000 hours of live action, fans can expect unbeatable spectating experiences.

Venues: Will use existing Southern California venues, including the LA Memorial Coliseum, SoFi Stadium, Crypto.com Arena, and even sites in Long Beach and Oklahoma City, with athletes housed at UCLA.

Significance: LA will be the third city to host three Olympics (after 1932 and 1984) and will aim for gender parity, with more women athletes than men.

Opening Ceremony: A unique, first-ever dual-venue ceremony at the LA Memorial Coliseum and SoFi Stadium.

Funding: Operates as an independently funded, non-profit organization, aiming for financial sustainability through private partnerships.
