2028 Summer Olympics / Los Angeles

Dates: July 14-30, 2028, for the Olympics, followed by the Paralympics.

From legendary venues steeped in Olympic history to stunning locations where the sand meets the surf, Los Angeles offers the perfect backdrop for athletes and fans to come together in a global celebration of sport, culture and unity.

With over 55 Olympic and Paralympic sports, 800+ events and more than 3,000 hours of live action, fans can expect unbeatable spectating experiences.

Venues: Will use existing Southern California venues, including the LA Memorial ColiseumSoFi StadiumCrypto.com Arena, and even sites in Long Beach and Oklahoma City, with athletes housed at UCLA.

Significance: LA will be the third city to host three Olympics (after 1932 and 1984) and will aim for gender parity, with more women athletes than men.

Opening Ceremony: A unique, first-ever dual-venue ceremony at the LA Memorial Coliseum and SoFi Stadium.

Funding: Operates as an independently funded, non-profit organization, aiming for financial sustainability through private partnerships.
