About Jamie Rose:
Jamie Rose is the author of Shut Up and Dance! (Tarcher/Penguin, 2011) and the forthcoming Facing Madame X: The Tools® for Women (Arcade, 2026). After more than forty years as a working actress in film, television, and theater, she transitioned into writing and coaching, where she works with people from all walks of life to overcome their inner critics and unlock their potential. A longtime mentee of Phil Stutz — the psychiatrist featured in Jonah Hill’s Netflix documentary Stutz — Jamie combines psychological tools, myth, and personal storytelling to help people transform self-sabotage into strength, whether in creative work, relationships, or everyday life.
