BARE – An Artistic Celebration of the Male Body

November 5 @ 7:30 pm10:00 pm

Pulitzer Prize-nominated artist/photojournalist/filmmaker Robin Layton, Presents her newest book, “bare.” In this immersive visual event, Todd Boston, Billboard Top Ten Guitarist/Multi-Instrumentalist, will be playing live in front of Robin’s artwork/videos.

“bare” is an artistic celebration of the male body.

As a lesbian artist/photographer with a background in photojournalism, Robin Layton unexpectedly found herself creating a new series featuring dozens of joyful, uninhibited men—completely nude and completely themselves. What started as a wild idea turned into an unforgettable mix of art and unexpected beauty.
“bare” is a celebration of all bodies, all ethnicities, and all identities—queer and straight, and everything in between. It highlights the extraordinary places creativity can take us, especially when no one is wearing pants.
This limited-edition book blends cheeky humor (pun intended), raw honesty, vulnerability, and a love for the human form. From bare backsides to perfectly lit penises, “bare” reveals the male body through Robin’s lens—playful, powerful, and unapologetically unfiltered. It’s a tribute to self-expression, connection, and the wonderfully surprising journeys that creativity can inspire.

A labor of love, “bare” includes 150 stunning, wondrous, exotic, and sometimes humorous photographs that explore the male body in all its grandeur and intimacy. Set against beautiful landscapes, these images reveal bare bodies—sometimes boldly, sometimes quietly—through Robin’s eyes. “bare” invites us to witness the male form not as something to hide, but as something to honor—with humor, grace, and curiosity.

Each photograph tells a story of friendship, freedom, self-acceptance, and the quiet beauty of showing up exactly as you are.
It’s a book about bodies. But more than that, it’s a book about being human.
Each copy of “bare” is signed and numbered.
First edition is limited to 750 copies: 500 books and 250 deluxe collector’s editions.
Each deluxe edition includes an authenticity certificate, limited-edition print, and is presented in a handmade clamshell case made in Italy.
