Cinema Diverse returns Sept. 17–25 with a packed lineup across three theatres. Opening Night (Sept. 17) features Mineshaft: The Cruising Murders followed by a reception and Q&A.

Cinema Diverse celebrates the full spectrum of LGBTQ+ storytelling through a dynamic mix of films that span identity, history, love, resilience, and queer imagination. Across multiple days and screening blocks, the festival showcases work from emerging and established filmmakers who explore the complexities of coming out, chosen family, cultural heritage, activism, romance, and the intersections of gender, sexuality, and community. Documentary, narrative, comedy, drama, and experimental shorts all share space, offering audiences a rich tapestry of perspectives—from intimate personal journeys to broader reflections on social change. Rather than focusing on any single theme, Cinema Diverse invites viewers into a vibrant, evolving conversation about queer life and creativity, highlighting stories that challenge, uplift, and expand our understanding of LGBTQ+ experiences.
