DOG SEES GOD / The Bent

Imagine the characters from one of your favorite comics growing up that had holiday specials on TV—you know, the one with a great pumpkin and a Christmas tree that definitely needed some extra love. Now imagine an unauthorized play featuring those same characters as degenerate high school teenagers dealing with substance abuse, eating disorders, teen violence, rebellion, sexuality and bullying—just like real life teens. Any guesses as to which character is gay? This is DOG SEES GOD. It’s funny, relevant and at times surprisingly touching.
