Equality Garden Party @ Flannery Exchange

Join us for a fun-filled garden party celebrating equality, diversity, and inclusion in our community!

We’re thrilled to announce that the incomparable Aurora Sexton will be joining us as our celebrity guest hostess for this year’s Equality Garden Party 2025, taking place on Friday, December 6th at the stunning Flannery Exchange in Palm Springs.Aurora Sexton is a nationally celebrated drag performer, actress, and trans rights advocate whose dynamic career spans pageantry, cabaret, theatrical illusion, and appearances across television, stage, and film. A former Miss Gay USofA 2016 and Entertainer of the Year, Aurora’s professional credits include standout roles in HBO’s Veneno, Generation Drag, Trixie Motel, West Side Story Burlesque, Drag: The Musical, and a variety of music video and independent film projects.Renowned for her dazzling portrayals of iconic villains and her fearless, boundary-pushing artistry, Aurora brings a magnetic blend of glamour, wit, and heart to every stage she graces. Her presence at this year’s Garden Party promises to elevate the evening with unforgettable charm and charisma. A Colorado native, Aurora now calls Los Angeles home.We’re also excited to announce live performances by:

  • Jackette Knightley, performing her original songs What Is Love and Hollywood Dreams
  • Steward Taylor, delivering high-energy performances of EvenMess Your Hair Up, and his newly released single Emilio

This event benefits the Marsha P. Johnson LGBTQ+ Youth Drop-In Center, a subsidiary of TH&WC dedicated to supporting LGBTQ+ youth ages 13–17. Located in Palm Springs, the Drop-In Center provides a safe and affirming space for youth to relax, connect, and access vital resources. Under the leadership of Renae Punzalan, Director of Youth Services, the Center supports GSAs, GLOW clubs, and other LGBTQ+ school groups across the Coachella Valley and High Desert. Programming includes support groups, social events like Youth Dungeons & Dragons, access to healthcare, food and hygiene resources, employment and housing support, and more.
