The Bent’s production of Lisa Kron’s IN THE WAKE begins during a contentious presidential election.  Not THAT one, the one in 2000, but the parallels are everywhere.  Ellen is a political junkie.  Her views clash with her partner and friends revealing personal blind spots and challenging assumptions about the country.  It’s funny, passionate, sharp–another searing play by Palm Springs’ LGBTQ+ theater, The Bent.
