Award-winning entertainer Tod Macofsky joins acclaimed jazz vocalist Kari Kirkland, backed by a live jazz band, for Singin’ & Swingin’—a sophisticated evening celebrating the golden age of jazz, swing, and classic vocal standards. Together, they’ll breathe new life into beloved songs with rich harmonies, effortless chemistry, and the kind of live musicianship that only a world-class jazz ensemble can deliver.

Tod Macofsky has become one of Palm Springs’ most beloved performers, celebrated for his powerful vocals, quick wit, and engaging stage presence. A multiple Desert Theatre League Award winner, Tod is known for his acclaimed cabaret performances, blending exceptional singing, storytelling, and humor into evenings that leave audiences both entertained and inspired.

Joining him is Kari Kirkland, an internationally experienced vocalist whose career has taken her from Europe and the Pacific Northwest to Southern California’s jazz scene. A former professional flying trapeze artist turned acclaimed jazz singer, Kari has collaborated extensively with Grammy-nominated arranger Shelly Berg and has earned praise for her intimate storytelling, sophisticated interpretations, and genre-crossing style that effortlessly blends jazz, pop, blues, and cabaret.

Together, Tod and Kari create an evening that is elegant, playful, and effortlessly entertaining—moving from swinging jazz standards and romantic ballads to unforgettable duets, lively storytelling, and moments that invite audiences to simply sit back and enjoy the music.

Spirit Animal, located inside Hotel Zoso, is Take Five’s premium live entertainment venue — formerly Pretty Faces Nightclub and Sirocco — reimagined as a retro-inspired psychedelic supper club. Featuring state-of-the-art sound and lighting, comfortable table seating, and a non-smoking environment, Spirit Animal was built for immersive dinner-show experiences where music hits deep and the vibe runs strong.
