DESCRIPTION:The “Conversations with the Land” Show at the Perez Art & Design District in Cathedral City on October 23 is about that sacred back-and-forth with nature\, where creating becomes meditation and the stress of the day begins to fall away.  This will be a celebration across various types of media and 20  Artists\, who will show their interpretation of this beautiful area that we live in. \nWe will have a special performance of the Bird Singers from the Agua Caliente Band of Cahuilla Indians at 5 PM on October 23 AND you can do a “nature hike” by visiting the participating Artists in their Studio spaces and see their beautiful interpretations of nature AND the Cathedral City Poet laureate Clare Chu will be reciting poetry in many of the spaces. \nParticipating Artists are Kathleen Strukoff\, Claire Chu\, Kendall Nishimi\, Barbara Eberhart\, Marco Franchino\, Daphne Hill\, Anna Stump\, Erich Meager\, Alberto Garcia\, Barbara Noris\, Three Seasons Gallery\, Andrée B Carter\, Lisa Loudin\, Russ Phillips\, Scott Bedrick\, Adriana Lopez\, Carlos Hernandez\, Barbara Boissevain\, Candace Kahn\, Sarah Soward\, Diane Ferree\, Diana Shay-Diehl\, Alison Hyman\, Ronan Hurley\, and Bart Baxter.
