His own residence—perched high above the city on Southridge Drive—became an architectural icon and was famously featured in the James Bond film Diamonds Are Forever\, cementing his place in design and pop culture history. \nDirected by author and design expert Adele Cygelman and shot by cinematographer Alan Kraemer\, the 90-minute documentary explores Elrod’s groundbreaking work and the personal story behind it—including a life and career tragically cut short.
