This event offers a rare opportunity to experience the confluence of architectural heritage\, cultural history\, and desert beauty in a setting that exemplifies Brutalism reimagined for contemporary life. \n\n\n\nGuests will have the opportunity to hear from Christine Vendredi\, Palm Springs Art Museum’s newly appointed JoAnn McGrath Executive Director. Originating in San Francisco’s gay clubs in the 1970s\, flagging has grown into a cherished flow-art practice combining movement\, music\, and meditation. Picture vibrant silk flags swirling in rhythm with a live DJ set\, creating a kaleidoscope of color and energy against the stunning Palm Springs sky.This year’s FITD will include a live set from San Francisco DJ Steve Sherwood to keep the beats flowing and the flags flying\, plus a free class at 10:30 AM for newcomers to learn basic flagging moves. Flags will be available to borrow\, so no experience is needed. The event offers a welcoming\, all-ages\, pet-friendly environment\, so bring your friends\, chosen family\, and fur babies. Hosted by media personality Sister Roma\, Palm Springs drag icon Ethylina Canne\, and award-winning adult superstar Ana Foxxx\, and featuring celebrity guest DJ and adult legend Boomer Banks\, the 2025 Mx. Pineapple Cabaret is set to be packed with world-class performances from an A-list roster of stars. The event will feature entertainment from cabaret powerhouses Drew Sebastian and Billy L’Amour\, Palm Springs’ favorite sit-down comic Pippi Lovestocking\, Mx. Pineapple 2022 Gemini Dai (Dakota Payne)\, Miss Sobriety World 2025 Chanelta Couture\, and RuPaul’s Drag Race star\, vocalist\, and trans activist Honey Mahogany.
The evening will also feature A-list Falcon | NakedSword talent that includes Beau Butler\, Grant Ducati\, JJ Knight\, Jordan Starr\, Max Konnor\, Reese Rideout\, Ryan Orion\, Scott Braun\, Sean Xavier\, and Sumner Blayne.
