DESCRIPTION:LGBTQ+ History & Archives of the Desert is proud to collaborate with the Civil Rights Institute – Inland Southern California on Out in the I.E. (Inland Empire)\, a powerful new exhibition that opened January 15 and runs through June 30\, 2026. \n\n\n\nThe exhibition honors the profound impact of the LGBTQ+ community in Riverside and San Bernardino counties—celebrating lives spent making art\, fighting for civil rights\, caring for one another\, and challenging the status quo with pride. \n\n\n\nAs part of the exhibition\, the Archives loaned 25 objects from its Permanent Collection\, highlighting the lasting influence of the Palm Springs–area LGBTQ+ community on the broader Inland Empire. \n\n\n\nOut in the I.E. is free and open to the public at the Civil Rights Institute\, 3933 Mission Inn Ave.\, Suite 102\, Riverside.
